Many of the Blog Posts have good Theological and biblical contents so I am going to create on category in which to save these Posts. These Posts will be connected to this page. I could just leave them on the main Post page, but it may be better to rename the Posts and put them in this category. Even though I tend to ramble in these posts, somethings I get some of my best writing in these posts because of my desire to be clear and complete. So far, we have posted a large number of excellent articles. My next chore is to put proper tags on them so that they can be properly located by others. I am sure that there are many other ways to make this Website more attractive. My son purchased for me a true domain www.bibleresourceman.com which I was afraid someone else would preempt. I have a great Christian son, daughter-in-law, and five excellent grandchildren. Truly God has blessed me! My praise for God can never be too much. I tend to be somewhat reserved in my vocal praise of God. By His grace I plan to work on this deficiency. As you may already know, we tend to become like the person or persons that we honour. Our honoring of God is not just an honouring of God, it is process of making us into the likeness of Him, Jesus Christ. Just a note: Many years ago I inserted a P.S. into all my email. This P.S. was an encouragement to believers and non-believers to take God seriously NOW. I found this canned P.S. on my 1.5 Terabyte harddrive and have now attached it to all my email. if you are a Christian you should do the same. Use every opportunity to present the glorious Message of Eternal Life to everyone you can. I love the Apostle Paul and the work to which God called him. Even though he was not perfect nor claimed to be perfect, I believe he was one of the greatest follower of Jesus Christ, if not the greatest. I have also made the following comment: Why did the Roman Catholic Church decide to chose Peter as their great leader? When the Apostle Paul was much greater in my estimation. Actually, I know the reason. They think that Matthew 16:16-19 is declaring that Peter was to be the first Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. There are other interpretations of this passage which I will deal with at a later time.
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matt 16:16-19 (KJV)
